YOUR PROPHETIC WRITING DIMENSION SEE YOUR POWER POINT NOTES FROM THE "GOING DEEP" SESSION | SLIDES 15-21

In the prophetic writing dimension, Holy Spirit is the keeper of secrets, the conveyer of mysteries, and the trustee of the tremendous, eternal and constantly expanding heart and mind of God (Job 38:4-41). Who can know it? We learned from our teaching that this dimension is filled with tremendous depth for the prophetic writer who seeks the deeper things of the Lord and discovers their prophetic precision.

I challenged you to look at the writing realm of several key prophetic-writer-types in scripture, whether they were named prophets by calling or operated "as prophets" in the places where the Lord had need. For example, King David wasn't a prophet by calling... yet God raised Him up to prophesy the coming of Christ. King David wasn't a designated scribe by calling or profession -- but he fully operated in the gift of prophetic writing as a minstrel and songwriter. His calling, outside of being "called" to be a king of Israel, was that of a master musician -- one whose passion and directives set the administration, structure, protocols, presence and the atmosphere for worship.

King Solomon was not a prophet, but the Lord imparted secrets and mysteries of this earth-life to Him , caused Him to provide solutions to everyday people-problems, and also placed a burden on His shoulders to impart tremendous wisdom to young people. He used Solomon to speak into and for creation - including the cosmos.

The anomaly of their calling reminds me of God's promise to Moses that "he would raise up a prophet" in the midst of the people when He had need of one in whatever space or moment of time it was needed.

When we look at Habakkuk the Prophet's writing realm, however, we see a distinctly different type of writer emerge. We SEE THE BURDEN of His prophetic office on His shoulders. Hold on to that thought for a moment.

Last week in your assignment, I asked you to describe which DIMENSION out of those you explored spoke to you most. I wasn't asking you to choose one because that's impossible due to the uniqueness of the ministries each of us hold. But because we share the prophetic writing "dimension" there are commonalities that are shared among prophetic writers that place us in "the writing realm." There are also distinctions that help us identify "writing prophets (that's next week)."

It blessed me to read the responses to the assignments last week. Some of you went into tremendous detail, and deeply explored the areas that stuck out at you in the lecture. I appreciate this tremendously! It has helped me better tailor this course to your needs.

I could CLEARLY SEE that some of you are pulled by BURDEN not just the leading of the Spirit. For a WRITING PROPHET, this indicates that you carry or will carry a "message inside you" that you currently feel or will feel spiritually pressured to deliver to a people or build around a people to whom you are called. You see, every mature writing prophet has WOES & BURDENS they carry for the congregation.... AS WELL AS ANSWERS AND SOLUTIONS.

WOES are the sorrows and distress OF THE LORD sensed by sons as they tap into the GRIEF of Holy Spirit in the area where they are assigned. Woes, are not the emotion of the person themselves, but grief of the Spirit pressing upon them. Woes are DIRECTLY RELATED to that prophets particular calling and ministry.

BURDENS are the assignments of the Son that weigh heavily upon them. For the prophet, those burdens are generally areas that specifically affect the SPIRITUAL health of the congregation. It's the obligation of the office that is inescapable, immovable. The submitted office, in its mature place, will SHINE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS... and bring solutions and/or answers to the situation or circumstance at hand.

WOES & BURDENS ARE CAN BE EARLY IDENTIFIERS OF RECOGNIZING THE WRITING PROPHET.

You see, inside the prophetic writing dimension (see the definition from the presentation) are very specific WRITING REALMS, deep wells of revelation, knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and solutions concerning THE BURDENS the writing prophet may carry.

Let's shift this conversation briefly.

The Prophetic Writing Dimension is shared by all prophetic writers.

The writing realm, the space you tap into personally inside that dimension, is specific to YOU! While we can find commonalities among prophetic writers.... THAT WRITING REALM... is exclusive to you!

For example, when King David was experiencing great distress, he IMMEDIATELY entered into confession, declaration and prayer. When David was in a place of tremendous thankfulness and joy, he entered into the minstrel's realm of prophetic writing, and wrong songs and/or poetry.

When Solomon began to expound on birds, trees, the cosmos, etc, he tapped into a realm of knowledge and wisdom opened up by conversation, debate, rhetoric and philosophy. He entered into a writing realm specific to those subjects as He had need. It seems that Solomon's WRITING REALM in this area was triggered by "those who sought his wisdom." So as people pulled on his profound gift, he was able to access the treasure within that WRITING REALM.

Habakkuk's writing realm is easy to discern. In the prophetic writing dimension, he knew how to go to "that spot in the city" to tap into into the SEER WRITING REALM. We can tell by his posture through the scriptures that this was common for him, and that he knew how to position himself to not only obtain God's attention but to obtain a clear answer that did not need interpretation.

I hope you can see this.

Every prophetic writer has a WRITING REALM that they can tap into and draw from whether the Lord releases their assignments to them without preparation or whether they go seeking the Lord's words. Either posture is acceptable to the Lord within their writing realm.

HOW FAR YOU GO IN THAT REALM IS OFTEN BASED ON TEACHABILITY, WILLINGNESS TO OPEN UP TO THE NEW AND RELEASE THE OLD!

In your writing REALM, we are supernaturally TUNED or BEING TUNED to that stream. It is even more specific and detailed for the prophet who writes.

Prophetic writers, while focused, may not have consistently connecting topics. There assignments might shift drastically from one topic to the next. Like the prophetic gift, they can move in a broad and wide space.

Writing prophets, in their mature places, are assigned to their measure. Measure is NOT a limitation in the Spirit realm! It's not someone trying to put you in your place. Rather, it is the PLACE THAT YOU HOLD and expand within your unique calling. With focus, obedience and exercise, the measure we have been given can give way to deep well-springs of revelation knowledge and prophetic insight for the souls to whom those messages are assigned.

I'm living proof of this. My ministry began with a poem, but I pushed beyond it. I didn't get comfortable with the persona of that place. I allowed wide counsel and prophetic insight to expand my borders, and the Lord began leading me into new and fresh territory.
