THE PRESENT DAY SCRIBE
The assignments in this section are designed to fortify our discussion concerning the present day scribe. At the heart of these assignments is a desire to see every teacher who completes the CTT program walk away with an in-depth understanding of the biblical history of the scribe and how it impacts our understanding, ministry to and the calling of prophetic scribes today. Everything you've learned up to this point is centered on revealing God's intention for scribes who are embracing The Scribal Anointing®.
We do not use phrases like "modern scribe" or "modern day scribe." Instead, we have always used the phrase "present-day scribe." Why? Well, present day scribes are born for the "now" in which they live. To use the phrase modern implies that something is not only current with the times but have the potential to become dated, old-fashioned... or out of sync.
The phrase present day is more... eternal. Not only can we call ourselves present-day scribes right now; but in a 100 years the phrase can still be used because it's focus shifts to "NOW" of the Lord. Add this phrase and the definition I have presented to your Scribal Dictionary.
You should know that this section contains numerous assignments and lessons. It may take you two weeks or so to work through them. Listen, it is my prayer that you don't become overwhelmed by the level of work. Remember, we are here to support and encourage you through the completion of this program. Take advantage of our sincere care of you.... and FORGE AHEAD... and listen to your next lecture.
