COURSE PREPARATION
Do These Things First
In this section, students will find instructions and resources needed for completing assignments.
LET'S GET STARTED
You scribal adventure is about to begin!
Make sure you have purchased "The Scribal Anointing: Scribes Instructed in the Kingdom of Heaven & The Scribal Companion" student workbook. You will need these books to complete the course. If you live outside of the United States & Canada, I strongly suggest purchasing the e-book version of The Scribal Anointing. If the books are not accessible in your region, please contact the Online School of the Scribe as soon as possible.
Next, setup your teacher's manual or binder. Grab the instructions below on how to get started, and check out the examples of student binders in the next section. Next, create your Scribal Awakening Journal. Some students simply took notes on loose leaf paper for varying lessons and inserted them with the corresponding lessons in their binder. Other students created a separate, personal journal for the course.
Whatever you decide to do is fine!
However, keeping a journal is necessary in this course. You will use your "Scribal Awakening Journal" to process what you are learning, work through new revelation you may receive, jot down the secret things the Lord speaks to your heart and so much more! I posted some ideas below on how to approach making your Scribal Awakening Journal.
Please note that you can be creative with how you develop your assignments and how you use the available resources in this course.
STUDENTS WILL ALSO NEED TO:
Download Acrobat Reader for their desktops or make sure their web browser has updated PDF extensions.
Create a free YouTube account to upload quick, unlisted videos for assignments.
Purchase at least one 2.5 to 3-inch, three-ring binder with clear cover.
Students with the knowledge-base and skill can create online binders with notes, links & group collaboration ability when creating their teacher's manual. If you don't know how to do this, then ignore this suggestion.
Colored dividers, enough for each section of the course
Loose leaf, lined paper for taking lecture notes or journaling
Highlighters, Ink pens
SIDE NOTE: The images below are examples of the student binders. In the next lesson, are examples of videos from other students as well. These students gave their all to the program and went above and beyond what was required. They developed EXCELLENT programs for scribes and have developed their own scribal groups, online schools or mentoring programs.
