Historical revisionism is a difficult topic. However, I teach that HISTORY -- all of its sides -- deserve to be told.

For example, we cannot accurately discuss the history of the church in the United States without also talking about politics, race and gender equality. As prophetic scribes, we must understand that HISTORY TAKES NO SIDES in the sense of "what it is IN our history." Varying views, however, emerge from the interpretation of historical evidence within our PROPHETIC PLACE.
