Activity I: The Present Day Scribe
Making Sense of Scribal Ministry PT I
We are still building on the previous section, "The Present Day Scribe."
It is important for students to see the roles scribes played in the history of our faith from Moses to Christ in new ways. This activity helps bring what you have learned so far to life in a practical way. I want to encourage you to walk through this assignment yourself. Then, consider ways you may use it to enhance your own activities as you work with prophetic scribes.
First, review pages 31-38 of The Scribal Anointing. Armed with this understanding, reflect over your life and and describe any administrative, instructional or creative scribal activities that you have been involved in over the years. Make a list if needed by creating a category for each.
Secondly, rank each area from 1 to 3 (1 highest) according to your passion if applicable. Please note that it is okay if you are not necessarily motivated at this stage in your life. Just give the best answer given your situation.
In your Scribal Awakening journal, reflect on why you ranked each area in the order you presented. This exercise is for your personal exploration.
